Does it make me a bad person that I took such joy out of the nonplussed reaction Jade had for Nate? Especially since he was feeling himself after the restaurants manager made such a big deal about him. Her “ I don’t give two shits about you” facial expression as she looked him dead in the eyes was fantastic.

In the real world:

Lucky guy. I’m surprised she’s not married to Enver Gjokaj, though. <_<

That would actually be much better than dating your former therapist. Gross.

I’m wondering if Rebecca isn’t alread pregnant.  She made that weird “I’m late” comment to Keely as they were waiting for Zava.  She could have been talking about the Psychic appointment or maybe it was something else?

You’re not the only one who’s wondering if Trent is gay.

I agree with this, I think Trent’s book will include Colin’s perspective as a closeted gay man in team sports

I cannot fathom they’d have Trent out Colin in his book. There is no way they’d give Trent all of this character development, softening his edge as a journalist with his relationship with Ted and then last week’s episode with Roy, only to just completely torpedo it by having him do something that evil.

I posted the same thing on Reddit last night, but there are two reasons to make me doubt it:

Yeah on one hand I don’t like the implication that Michelle was screwing over Ted (or at least basically going into therapy not with the intention of improving things, but as an exit strategy), but it also feels kind of depressingly real (I’ve seen a ton of advice column letter writers who were in the same situation,

Not being smug (honest!), but the moment Jimmy affirmed Grace’s determination to push Donny off the (metaphorical) cliff I knew there was only one way the season was going to end.

Oh yeah. That relationship is so out of bounds that I just assumed we weren’t playing in the same sandbox as real life. If the show is going to start holding its characters accountable like real life, both Sagal and Malik’s characters are being sanctioned/losing their license next season.

I think S1 of this show was very much like “It’s okay not to have strong boundaries” and S2 will pivot to “Okay, perhaps *some* strong boundaries are necessary”

The minute they showed her hiking with her boyfriend, I knew. I KNEW!! Will be interesting to see what happens from here!

I love the contrasting line reading of “You look so much like your mother” from the first episode to this one.

Vehemently disagree, this was actually one of my favorite episodes of the entire series... just Beard’s shrieks alone were hilarious.

He thought he was being edgy, trying to make a name for himself. All he really does is look for the worst in people.

It still cracks me up about how when Zlatan moved to LA, LeBron James posted a “welcome to LA” thing on instagram, to which Zlatan replied, “A king welcomes a god.”

Ted telling Trent Crimm  they have a bunch of his hair ties in the stadium’s lost & found if he wants them felt improvised to me, partly because the actor didn’t respond to it. I equally loved his sincere apology to Roy for that long ago article & him telling Rebecca with apparent sincerity that he loved her petty

This was one of the best episode of the series and you gave it C+ ? Weird.
