I think it's funny that there're already a bunch of people going "I just need [part] and buy the rest at my local military surplus store". It's never that easy, trust me.

Hats off to everyone who still came out, it seemed like a pretty miserable afternoon at the races.

@RedRaptor: As a cosplayer who plays airsoft, it's pretty frustrating to see guys like that at cons — like they rolled around for a bit inside the nearest surplus store and then bought one of those now-too-familiar crossdraw vests.

I saw the headline and was ready to go "AW WHAT THE FU—" and then I read the story. Indeed, he seems like a really cool guy and while it's sad to see him go I think it's great to see someone who didn't let the fame get to them so much that they forget the people that matter.
