Probably not. "EVERYBODY, LOOK AT ME!" schtick is mostly all she's ever been known for, so this is par for the course. The best defense I could muster for her would be an eye roll.

If Shipp is coming back as Storm, I suppose that means this film is stuck in the past, as well? Ugh. Even a spin-off can't get a fresh start away from Singer.

Oh, please with that suspension of belief nonsense. If it was one or two bits of characters doing stupid things or unbelievable coincidence just to move the plot along, it would be one thing, but this movie is riddled with them. And, once again, if this was just some dumb Friday the 13th film, I'd roll with it but

Chappie makes Elysium look like Citizen Kane.

I think at least make sure the ship is 100% safe before the shower sex. It's like people in horror movies live in a world without horror movies. As Bryan Fuller said, this is something characters in a Friday the 13th movie do.

That actually seems logical when two people respond to most of their friends being killed and narrowly escaping a hostile planet with murderous aliens by deciding to immediately go shower fuck.

I agree with you in principal and theory, but I know damn good and well that if it came down to it, I'm risking 2000 freezer people to save my wife. There's so many dumb decisions in this film that make no sense that I can't focus on the ones that were at least driven by emotions that do make sense.

Pretty big leap to turn online trolls into suicide bombers, don't you think?

While it's fun to beat on the wannabe Richard Spencers of the world, I really don't want to see this turn into another Ghostbusters. Of course, the Bat-bros are probably the same nuts who went after Ghostbusters, so maybe their obsessive need to defend all things DC will keep wonder Woman immune.

Yeah, there was a section that lumped a bunch of different Native American mythos together, IIRC.

That would be amazing. The world always needs more Jessica Hynes.

Doesn't everyone?

As much as I like Simon Pegg, he really does have a pretty lousy track record without Wright. That new movie he has coming out looks like something Adam Sandler passed up.

Sounds like there's a blood bath in store at Marvel. Several books already cancelled and I read there could be as many as thirty more titles getting the ax.

From what I've read, trade sales are the only thing that's kept Squirrel Girl's book alive.

So, Gambit is now in competition with The Crow and The Flash to see which phantom film can sign and then lose the most people without ever getting made.

They won't. The most vehement Trump supporters would cheer the beheadings of their own children if they thought it was spiting liberals.

I hope you become the most successful business in the country.

My wife was saying the same thing last night. Unfortunately, if these exist, they probably quadrupled in price after the episode.

I think Marvel actually wants everyone to hate Inhumans.
