Criminally understarred.

Is it weird that my reflex reaction to this post was to let you know that you spelled steak wrong?

Now Alex, get off Deadspin and head back to the ESPN baseball studios.

Financial transactions aren’t covered by the legislation you’re referencing.

If $120,000 shows up in your account, call the bank. It’s not by some miracle going to end up staying there, and it’s better to just get the hassle out of the way early on. You being in the loop with the bank also reduces the chance that they take $130,000 back out of your account accidentally.

How does one enforce a ban from a stadium? I’ve never had to show ID for a game, or to buy tickets.  How do teams think they’ll be able to enforce keeping someone away?

“R-word”.

IT’s kind of entertaining when the US does the whole “We need to reclaim the glory!”, “We gotta show the world!” thing though.

While this one’s a bit of a unicorn (v12, stick, paint), I’m still thinking this one’s just a tick too high to be a NP for me.

Because his opinion is the same tired “Oh, well this is partly her fault...” conversation.

This is the single weirdest defense I’ve ever seen.

Living in Rochester, I’ve never understood the Genny Cream Ale thing.  People genuinely love that shit.

I agree, and I’d add that there’s a special place in hell for people who use “we” when talking about a college they didn’t attend.  I live in Upstate NY, and the amount of “we” people talking about Syracuse is ridiculous.  Same with Notre Dame guy.  If you didn’t attend the school, you can’t use “we”.  Ever.

That’s what I thought. I’m not sure this is that big an outrage. If the guy is a high-achieving student then he’s not likely a flight risk, or likely to be a threat while he’s out waiting for his trial.

2 cups in the last 7 years, and bitching about not winning the draft lottery.

Can you imagine how fun a fight between an NBA guy and an NHL guy would be?

In case anyone wants scientific proof, here you go:

If I have the opportunity to have a comfortable Greg Maddux pitching to his guy, I’m going to take it.  Maddux was absolutely capable of throwing a 90 pitch 1-hitter everytime he took the ball, so why wouldn’t I play to that strength?

Yeah, this math seems easy.  The guy gives up 3 less runs pitching to his guy.  Does Ramos create more than 3 runs a game?  Then sit his ass down.

Fuck that dark patch of grass.  Just give me back my yellow line, that’s worked just fine for a decade now.
