UAW contracts were a huge part of why the big three almost failed. Unions do more than just give workers more money. They make it almost impossible to fire dead weight workers making a ton of money who don’t do their jobs. Guys that are making 45 bucks an hour sweeping the floor, because the union is powerful enough…

Agreed. Except we’re not talking about living wages, are we? Living wages don’t BK companies. Ridiculously high wages and the inability for a company to layoff/fire employees that are dead weight do.
