He's soooo good in A Room with a View. You wouldn't think a movie like that has laugh out loud moments, but DD-L totally brings it. I lol every time i see him get hit with that ball, or shooing away the bee.

Stars and Bars is really great, Day-Lewis is perfectly hilarious in it, and it has a great cast. And it's kind of sweet, too. Totally worth checking out.
He already does have great comedy chops. He was perfect (and hilarious) in A Room with a View, and was brilliant (and hilarious) is the very little seen Stars and Bars, one of my favorite comedies. Stars and Bars also has a great cast— i'd highly recommend seeking it out (just checked, and it's available on YouTube…

And what about his Canadian girlfriend? He told me she was a model
I'd buy a piece of land and build an exact replica of the Hatch from Lost to live in. And if i was still super-rich after that, i'd build an exact replica of Serenity from Firefly.
Yeah, i enjoy his Lucas much more. Not that it's "better" or anything, and they're both funny, it just makes me giggle a lot more— it's sillier.
I haven't seen the doc yet, but i heard Streep talking about their relationship on Fresh Air about the time it came out. Really interesting stuff.
Have you seen the 2012 Directors's cut, released by Criterion? Cimino supervised the cut, and says, at 216 minutes, it's the version he intended to release before the studio stepped in. I've not seen it, but i've read good things, and that it's greatly improved over the 149 minute theatrical release of the film.
He was married to Meryl Streep.
If you're playing a game such as Pillars of Eternity, and you see a McDonald's ad on a wall, that's immersion breaking, and yeah, i think a lot of people would care about it.
Super-cool guitars, perfectly bizarre vocals, weird horn freak-out, fantastic production, and genius drumming— this Guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Is he Canadian or something?
Eh, he says gross things sometimes. He deserves what he gets.
First time i've ever disagreed with your sentiments. He can be pretty terrible sometimes, and his ubiquity only makes it worse.
I don't know… i think more people should use the crazyness of scientology to expose the crazyness of other, more socially accepted, religions.
There's a difference between scientology and religion? Please explain.
Which has killed more people, scientology or christianity? What about molesting children?
And i think the director shot a lot of it using practical effects, but the studio stepped in and replaced it with a ton of bad cgi.
I come from the future to say that you are a serious asshole.
She's totally awesome. And pretty good-lookin'. Great read.
