So will we have the option to switch between the two if we're not stupid and can learn to adapt to the original 4:3, or are just old and are already used to it?

"Thank you George, you've been great. That's it for me!"
"What? No, no, you're not going out on a high note with me, Mr. Kruger."
"It's K-UGER!"
In my mind, he's as prominent as Peterman.

Just posted above that The Pirate Planet was the first one i caught, on PBS. Not a bad one for a first time, and i've been a fan ever since.
Pirate Planet was my first Doctor Who, back around 1982— just happened upon it in TV Guide when i didn't feel like going to bed on a Sunday night. It was love at first sight. The main baddie got quite irritating, but the Mentiads were awesome, and it's a great concept for a story.
“Now drop your weapons, or I'll kill him with this deadly Jelly Baby…”
No doubt Cross can come off as abrasive (part of the reason i like him), but that Lazzo guy, who i've never heard of, sure seems like a childish dick, who's not funny at all.
Yeah, it's the same level of disappointment as if i opened up my itunes and discovered that they'd put a Maroon 5 album in there.
Man, it'd been so long since i'd seen a lame-ass firstie around here, i'd begun to hope they were gone forever.
Knowledge is power,
it grows like a flower …
All it takes is a look at the winners of the Oscars throughout it's history and the films that came out that same year that didn't win to see that it's completely meaningless. Plus, it's embarrassing to watch all the self-congratulation and over-emotion. And dance numbers. It's not worth it to see a couple of funny…
That's the problem: who's deciding that he's "100% guilty". That's what the trial's for. And an incompetently or crookedly run trial is no trial at all. Innocent until *proven* guilty.
Even if you think he's guilty, you can't honestly think that he got a fair trial, and was legitimately found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Dude deserves another trial, if for nothing else but to highlight the flaws in the original trial by the police, the prosecutor, the jury, and his own attorney.
I'm not a car guy, but i can appreciate a well-staged car chase, and there really aren't that many great ones out there. The French Connection has a famously great car chase, and some of my personal favorites are Ronin, The Bourne Identity (and Supremacy, really), Terminator 2, Death Proof, and the first two Mad Max…
Yeah, i remember before it came out the effects guys bragging about the amount of detail that went into replicating the fabric and modeling the actor's faces, and then seeing how bad it looked in the finished film, even for then. Their reach definitely exceeded their grasp.
Haven't seen them since they came out, but i remembered liking the second one enough, though the rave scene seemed dumb even then, and i was surprised at how much more generic it felt compared to the original. But it at least looked cool and had a couple of inventive action scenes.
It beggars belief.
I keep hearing how good Speed Racer is, and it has a pretty great cast (apart from that Hirsch kid, who's just plain bland), *and* i loooved the cartoon as a kid, but every time i try to watch it, i have about 3 seizures in a row. I can't tolerate that mess for more than a couple of minutes.
Get rid of the Seaward.
