I love that 1990 recording of The Sinking of the Titanic. Also great: Jusus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet.

Glad you said it. It's not a particular favorite of mine, and it's not even close to being my favorite Genesis album, but i would have been sad if no one mentioned Lamb in a discussion of concept albums.
"This guy – this is not my kind of guy."
Look at him. Standing on his hind legs like a young Rory Calhoun.
Oddly enough, i learned 55378008 first.

I love when David Byrne's grandma (that's how i think of her anyway) comes in at the end with a plate of cookies, bouncing along to the beat of the song.
He's being a real stand-up guy about this,
Yeah, Sling Blade is too good to be on this list, and Billy Bob is pretty great in it, as are the boy and Dwight Yokam. And the scene with Robert Duvall is disturbing. I really like Sling Blade.
Beat me to it— he was hilarious on Friends.
Love The Black Stallion.
Tie between Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart DS, with Super Mario Kart a close third.
I was sooo disappointed when i got Burnout Paradise and there was no true crash mode.
With Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64, Battle Mode was played just as much if not more than the Racing Modes by me and my friends. Since then Battle Mode has gotten worse with each iteration and gets played less and less as a result.
I think that the point is that just because you are influenced by somebody (as The White Stripes obviously were by Led Zeppelin, or The Black Keys, i'm guessing (don't know their stuff), were by The White Stripes) doesn't mean that it's necessarily a "watered down" version of anything. Artists are influenced by…
Never liked Community either. Kind of seems obnoxious to me, as does its fervent fan base.
Wow, i've said the exact same thing countless times when talking great guitar players. It's a great moment in the movie. Robbie Robertson, who i think is great, plays a good solo, but is clearly working his ass off. Then up steps Clapton. He plays an amazing solo, and looks like he's not even trying.
Why are there two Mike Mills' in that photo?
I don't know exactly *when* it jumped the shark, but if it weren't for Henry Winkler (how aprapos), i wouldn't have laughed at all this episode, or all season for that matter. It seems that i'm the only one around here that thinks that Parks and Recreation has been pretty terrible this season. All the characters…
Well, it's still a show that i like, and i'm kinda invested in the characters at this point. Just because this season isn't my favorite (it's probably my least favorite so far) doesn't mean that i'm just going to give up on it. I still enjoy watching it— it's still a likable show with likable characters, and it's…
