As i was reading that part of the article, i was thinking exactly that, and then i read it. Never saw a minute of that show, but i sure as hell watched that episode.

For me, it's a tie between Columbo and The Rockford Files. But since Rockford is my watch-after-a-night-out-drinking show, it has a bit of an edge.

Several years ago, a friend and i went to a midnight screening of The Shining. The print was so pink and scratched that i soon could take it no more, so we bailed, went home and watched the dvd.

I become physically angry watching ad after ad before a movie that i just paid 15 bucks to see. Enraged, i believe it's called. I become enraged.

Andy Serkis does a lot more than just the voice of Ceasar in the Planet of the Apes movies. I would have thought the A.V. Club would have been a little more up on the whole performance capture thing. He's actually there on set performing for the cameras. Very much looking forward to this one.

I'm bored of comic book movies.

"…an actor who can replicate Keanu Reeves’ befuddled charisma, such as someone who’s just emerged from oral surgery."

As i was watching this, i was trying to think if i've ever said this, or ever heard anyone say it, and i don't think i have on either count. I think it's just a screenwriting device to get some exposition in there.

Orin's behind me, isn't he?

Got much of it off of iTunes a couple of years ago (it was released as a series of singles), and i really like most of it, especially Elbow's Mercy Street, David Byrne's I Don't Remember, Bon Iver's Come Talk to Me, and Paul Simon's Biko. Looking forward to hearing the bits that weren't released back then, especially

I'm a HUGE fan of his, and followed everything he did through the mid-nineties very closely (since the early eighties, really), and he always looked like 'Peter Gabriel'. Then, as he "disappeared" from about '96-'06 or so, i didn't pay much attention and was listening to other things (and wasn't much into the

I got tired of super hero movies around Spiderman 2.

More Bradley Cooper… yaaaaaaay…

I miss Fringe.

Yeah i was a bit surprised to see it here. I thought that it was doing alright, ratings-wise.

I'm a The Walking Dead fan, and i like pointing out the flaws in The Walking Dead— i enjoy watching it, and it's a lot of fun, but it's far from perfect, and i don't mind talking about it.

I miss Morgan and Adam, i really do…

I see Adam Sessler on Rev3games on Youtube. What happened to Morgan???

"Remarkably good"—sounds about right.

Wow, the A.V. Club commenters really love Beyonce! Any slightly negative comment gets a ton of downvotes. Who would have thought that a pretty girl who can sing and dance well but is otherwise a complete lightweight would find such warm embrace here of all places? Sure, she's fine i guess, likable and talented.
