Last week, i'd have been with you. But there was just too much stupid going on this week. Not that i'm giving up or anything, but i am disheartened.

During the train chase at the end, i swore to myself "If there's not an explosion on that train, i'm out." While i'll likely keep watching the show, i'm not happy about it right now.

I've been noticing this a lot lately. It's a problem that's come up with cgi muzzle flash— they don't use blanks anymore so there's no recoil at all, and the actors aren't properly "acting" the firing of their gun. It's really distracting.

Caught Amy Schumer's act on Comedy Central one night, and gave it a shot since i'd heard so many good things about her. She was like a younger, sort-of-attractive Lisa Lampanelli— they have the same act, with a slightly different presentation.

Eric Stoltz has been great his whole career, and it's been a very interesting career indeed. Always been one of my faves. And i love him here.

God is not a gun. Just because you mention god, or even base your whole show around the concept, doesn't mean that there has to be divine intervention by the last act. In fact, if you're gonna use divine intervention at the end, you'd better introduce that specific concept earlier. Which is exactly where BSG
