Oh, come on, Land of the Lost is great.  It's one of my late night, watch-as-i-fall-asleep shows.  Sure the acting's terrible and the effects are dated (though i'd argue that they're actually quite advanced (given that it was the 70s and they had no money), using what is basically the early video version of the work

While it's not quite as hilarious as i remember, It's Garry Shandling's Show is still a lot of fun to watch.  It probably comes off better watching a few episodes here and there, and not in marathon sessions (like i did), where its "flaws" stand out more.  Still a great (and important) show though, and i'd highly

I find this whole music rights issue with old shows extremely annoying and kind of depressing.

Shout! Factory will not get my full love until they release both WKRP in Cincinnati and Northern Exposure with all of the original music cues intact.  That's right, i get off on being withholding!

I like Pertwee a lot, but certainly not because of his fighting.  His "martial arts" are laughably ridiculous.

Well, i like all those episodes, so i'm glad DW did this.

Red on the head, fire in the hole.

I really liked this episode (gave it an A-), but i must admit that i gave a little eye roll at the porcupine man taking flight.  The rest was solid stuff.

He'd like to Polk Olivia.

Sorry, guys.  I was kinda drunk when i wrote that.  I actually do like some hip-hop.

I would declare hip-hop dead, but thatwould assume that hip-hop was ever alive.

Rusty!

Apples and oranges.  They serve different purposes in the story.  If Jerry's parents were as crazy as the Costanzas, it probably wouldn't have worked.  It would have been a bit much.  I love them both equally for different reasons, although i do have to admit that Frank Costanza is one of the greatest tv characters

They "borrowed" an old Woodie Allen line (and i'm paraphrasing): "It started with burning desire, and ended with a burning sensation."

I always think of how terrible the ride home will be.

Ya know, i never really like it when Elaine is antagonistic towards George.  I mean, i like it when they are at odds with each other, but i almost never like it when Elaine is dismissive of George.  It doesn't happen that often, but i always notice it when it does.

Besides, George always gets really upset when someone think's he's, or accuses him of, lying.  That's been there since the very early days.

I remember not really getting the joke.  I mean, i figured it out in context, but i don't think it was a "thing", at least not in the circles i ran in.

He called the shit poop.
