you may remember, peter jackson actually used braveheart as an example when they were shopping the lord of the rings around of how the trilogy would take the mythology of tolkien and give it the more realistic braveheart historical-action-drama treatment.  i'd say that worked out pretty well.

hello to jason isaacs.

hopefully the last time car racing will appear on my dvr.

i'm in the same boat.  i dream of the day that shout factory works their magic on northern exposure (and wkrp in cincinnati) like they did on their beautiful freaks and geeks set.  i would gladly pay twice what tv series usually go for for those shows.

i don't mind *some* of them, it's just not my favorite thing.  like in fallout 3— i played the main game and really liked it.  but if a side quest was too "talky," i'd just move on.

yeah, i remember the tv guide articles on st. elsewhere, of the "best show you're not watching" variety.

yeah, i have never played a multiplayer online game and have no desire to, so i would be very skeptical, to say the least, of any game that requires it.  thanks for the info.

very cool.  i'll check it out.

i got the fringe alert, but not cheers.

maybe i misspoke— it's not so much that i don't care about the story (which sounds like it might be something i enjoy), but more that i'm not interested in spending a lot of time thinking about character choices in dialogue trees.  but it sounds like you can play it as a more action oriented game, like fallout 3

nah, nothing will ever top the ratner/big butt book photo.

by "three-way", do you mean that three of her orifices were being stuffed?

this.  i never had a problem with piven.  he was good in a few things here and there (although this cupid thing people keep siting was very average).  then entourage came along (which i loathe) and the "success" seemed to go to his definitely not bald head.

do you really have to play multi-player to finish the game well?  i've never heard of anything like that.

so, having never played the first two and not being particularly concerned with the story, would it be worth a play?

i'll just say two things about lost as i don't want to digress too much…

yeah, kruger is my favorite george boss.  and then there's the coen brothers' movies.  the guy's awesome and i wish he didn't feel so bad.  maybe now he's getting the help he deserves.

or eating a trash donut.

you stole my jesus fish!

i always like the maid/prostitute.  and catherine keener.
