she was pretty funny on friends, too (not the greatest show, i know).

the whitney one was waaay worse. those were dark days indeed.
in the picture up top, is that the blond chick from the big bang theory, or the blond chick from chuck?
yes, that's the worst picture i've seen of her. she's not a bad looking lady normally, and she has a rockin' bod (and isn't shy about it).
at the time i first saw these back in the eighties, i didn't really like colin baker, but i didn't hate him, either (like i would sylvester mccoy). and i have never revisited his episodes since. but he does pop up in some of the dvd extras, and i actually like him. now that i know the history of the show more, and…
right there with ya. i sort of stuck with it off and on through colin baker, mainly because of peri (i actually liked her as a companion aside from her rockin' bod). then came sylvester mccoy and i had to give up— didn't really like him, hated ace. and it only got worse with mel. i probably saw half of c. baker's…
wait, i thought gervais was doing a parody of a david tennant slug villain that was played by a comedian. i'll look it up…
does the o.p. get partial credit for all the likes his/her thread produces? i'm having a bit of a rough patch, and i could really use it…
never promise crazy a sitcom!
jocularity is my forte, but i'm not above begging, either.
talk about a let down— i receive notification that sctv and mr. show were mentioned in an article, and this is what i get?! thanks a lot, disqus!
yeah, it sees like i saw that screencap at the top of the article, like, 2 years ago. and it seems like my friend who likes the show hasn't talked about in as long.
yeah, ew used to be better, and they always covered LOST excellently, but they swoon waaay too much over the likes of sex and the city, twilight, and glee. used to keep the latest issue in the bathroom for some casual reading for me and the roommates, but haven't picked up an issue in a couple of years.
mummensquad!
it's that freakishly callogened upper lip. i have zero opinion of this music, but when i checked out her video (video game?), i couldn't take my eyes off that thing— obviously not in a good way. she puts meg ryan to shame.
but they don't even get that right. nerds didn't dress anything like that in the eighties. sure, they were bad dressers, but in a boring way. the nerds that i knew dressed in too tight grey or tan cords or too dark blue jeans, and ill fitting light colored polo type shirts. and if they did wear pop culture…
i kind of hate it. it's depiction of nerds is about thirty years old, and the way they dress, in all brand new clothes in insanely bright colors, has never been how nerds, or anyone, has ever dressed. except for maybe the talking heads on the back cover of little creatures.
"the soup of the day is… what's the soup of the day, mum?"
"bread."
"and the soup of the day is bread. unless you're just here for the poppuns."
absolutely love ravenous, except maybe for the end— endings that come down to what basically amounts to a fist fight between the two main dudes are hard to pull off. the michael nyman score is a genius touch.
i think he directed "my stepmother is an alien" which starred a young alison hannigan.
