yeah, sims gave this plot pretty short shrift— i consider it a classic kramer plot.

the wreck of the edmund fitzgerald?

i'd have to go with grey goose.  i have friends that like tito's, but i just can't get over it's rail vodka aftertaste.  although tito's is about half the price of grey goose…

where do the late night wars fit in?

he's bee boppin' and scattin', and i'm losin' it!

actually, sax and violins is a talking heads song that appeared on the soundtrack to wim wenders' film until the end of the world.  and it is a fantastic song.

"couldn't bring myself to get out of bed today.  again.  the dread just won't go away.  the depression is suffocating, the emptiness unending.  sometimes i think there is only one way out.   weather cool, breezy."

i loved DK64, but i have to agree with the general consensus that there was just too much to collect.  it had great graphics, fun play mechanics and real atmosphere.  i didn't finish it, but i think i came close.  all those different colored coins!

it's a wonderful life definitely gets pretty dark.

i too watched that entire clip and did not find one funny thing in it.  i have friends that like craig ferguson, and i just don't get it— or all the love he gets here.  he's an affable enough fellow, and i thought he was funny on the drew carey show, but his talk show just isn't that funny.  i'm baffled on this one.

just watched it— pretty amazing; and epic, too.

she hates cans!

yeah, i always liked those cutaway shots of someone appreciating someone else's joke.  i just rings true.

the rest of the cast is so strong, and the writing and direction so good, that, at least in my book, it didn't lose a bit of quality even with the loss of two major characters.  sure, the later seasons did become less grounded and more farcical, but they're still hilarious, possibly more hilarious than the diane years

it's streets ahead of other buzzwords.

thank you for that.  a tiny bit of genius.

"that kimono you wear…"  i love that.

just too funny.
