The ABC’s of conservatism:
The ABC’s of conservatism:
There’s a weird conservative tendency to think they are being attacked by simply being in a presence of someone who they assume has more liberal values than they do.
Anyone that is that insistent that they aren’t drunk is absolutely drunk. In other news, what an utter child.
If you do some googling on Rebel Wilson, you’ll find some real evidence for that theory.
Maybe if somebody has such bad PTSD that they think acorns are gunshots and empty their firearm at the sound of an acorn, they shouldn’t be allowed access to firearms?
I mean, Marvel certainly has a role in the decline of the MCU, but the crap like this that Sony puts out (and is advertised as Marvel) really hasn’t helped. Your average person can’t tell you this has nothing to do with the MCU. They just roll their eyes and say “More Marvel stuff, I guess.”
JAL Flight 516’s evacuation proved to contradict the idea that today’s presumed “everyone for themselves” mentality would never allow everyone to survive such a horrific crash.
There are many instances of plane crashes where passengers stopped to get their belongings out of overhead bins, thus dooming their fellow passengers to horrific deaths. The fact that this didn’t occur here tells you all you need to know about the people on board that plane. I am not willing to make generalizations…
A movie with nothing but Marvel 3rd-stringers as the characters..
I know I can (and should) look it up, but I have not had my coffee yet and it just strikes me as kind of wild that you can represent a district in which you do not live. I am sure there are valid reasons for it, but it *seems* like if you want to represent a district you should at least have to feign being a part of…
I don’t know about anyone else but I legit have “Superhero fatigue”-fatigue now.
A police badge is a patent of nobility and a license to kill.
I don’t know why the two-time Miss Universe pageant winner and inventor of the internal combustion engine would be doing something like this.
Anyone else have the strong impression that this was only “necessary” in that somebody wanted to play with their military-esque toys? This driver wasn’t going anywhere, and the truck was surrounded by SWAT, presumably armed to the teeth. They seriously couldn’t come up with a better idea to get the driver out of the…
Drivers do lots of work inside (taking orders, making orders and cleaning,) they aren’t just standing around waiting.
People started doing that and now you have a bunch of lower level businesses whining and putting up signs about how they’re understaffed and “nobody wants to work anymore” even though unemployment is at historic lows.
“Nobody wants to work!”
The idea behind a minimum wage when FDR instituted it was that anyone who worked 40 hours a week deserved to make enough to live on. It rewarded honest work with an honest paycheck. Telling someone to get a ‘real’ job is unhelpful and condescending, and demeans the work of millions. ‘Entry Level’ should not mean ‘Pover…
I wish people understood the dynamic between a Franchisee and a Franchisor - making comparisons as if the two operate as one entity is just a sign of ignorance towards how businesses work.
Try ot read into what the article is actually about and not your outrage at clickbait headlines
The franchise owners are using the wage increase as an excuse to eliminate positions and increase profit. Profit over people, and a perfect scapegoat.
It’s just as much bullshit as when companies declare retail theft to be…
