Besides designing cars, Mike Mate is an automotive artist of great renown:

Oh, he'd have wanted it, alright. If it put a nickel in his pocket, he'd have been just fine with it.

I read once that he offered this to VW as the 2nd-Gen Scirocco, and they said no thanks, and that's how it ended up with Isuzu.

When I try to start it up, it tells me it won't. WTF?

Parallels 7 won't run on Mountain Lion, just so you know.

Cantore probably has something in his contract that says he can't wear one of his favorite International Male shirts unless it's a hurricane. That's the only reason he cares.

Just this past weekend, my GF and I did her headlights with the kit from Sylvania, $20 on Amazon. It was amazing, pretty easy (took about an hour to do both lenses), and I heartily recommend it. Consumer Reports liked it, too. No idea how long it lasts, though.

Somebody posted this in Gawker crosstalk. Nicely put.

Right? And yet— too thin for a piece.
