I think the argument *is* that it is tokenism, and the fact that the people you listed are as - if not more - qualified to be a good President amplifies the level of frustration caused by their being treated as “because you’re a woman” tokens.

*A* reason it’s not a perfect panacea to gender equality does not translate to “it doesn’t matter.”

The answer is the same whether we are in a bear or a bull - if you need the money soon, keep it safe from short-term devaluation. If you have time, get it in the market.
