Succinct, well-said.

As an electrician, I am offended by the implication that anyone could just do my job, that the years of training I undertook were simple and not earned like all of your fancy academic achievements.

I am very late to this thread, but I starred everything you said, not as a rider, but as a driver.

Thank you for that link; I can’t give much, but I am glad I had the chance to give something.

Don’t tell anyone over at Jezebel, but the strip district is my first stop in any city.

I wouldn’t argue with that.

I agree completely. My problem is when cyclists decide to do what makes sense to them when the people who are trying to share the road are confused by the choices they make. That’s not safe for anyone.

You might have no problem with a cyclist doing an Idaho Stop, but I have a huge problem with it. Why?

I was going to engage with “duty to retreat,” but I can’t fight against “never” and “always.”

I’ll quote myself responding to a similar comment:

Cool. I hope he remembers that distinction when national Stand Your Ground law reaches the Court.

Not sure if you know what “unrepentant” means.

I hate that. I can really nice things about cunts.

God... where is the zillion star button?

Oh fuck, I haven’t seen everything yet, are there people who agree with him? I may not be able to stomach this thread...

Fuck you. You tell your kid to respect authority...

That renders as five rectangles for me, so, no, I have not considered it.

I think that may be a fair point, but have you fully considered the macroeconomic impact?

Finally, someone said it! I couldn’t wear a baseball cap inside my middle school, my wife glares at me if I happen to forget to take off my hat in an Arby’s, and yet, this?

Tucker Smith.
