Empathize with Josh, about 13-14 years ago I lived in a building where a Somalian guy down the hall, nearly everyday when I got home from work, was blasting and singing along to “Living la Vida Loca”

I actually don’t like most of what Surly makes, but Furious is my favorite beer ever.
So it’s cool to throw objects at people in traffic, including those who are operating vehicles?
happy hour in the middle of people’s evening commute.
The only thing worse than a pedalpub full of douchebros is one full of middle aged suburbanites yelling “WOOO!” like a bunch of college freshmen, who think they’re fitting in with either the douchebro or hipster crowd by going on one of them (or for that matter, thinking that douchebros or hipsters are someone they…
It’s all a bout the ratings....he’s upset at the guy for ending the chase because now the people who were watching at home will change the channel.
“Ridiculously huge boxer”...could you be more specific?
Another good one is when they have a sale for an item that they literally might not have even sold the day before, and is obviously just some other producer/retailer dumping their poor-selling inventory...seems to be a big one for black friday sales, like where you can get a 40-inch “Songsam” TV for $150
Ironhead Heyward
Agree completely....I mean seriously, what exactly was everyone expecting? It’s not like you have to be an expert on Mayweather’s fight history to know what his strategy in this match was going to be. If the point of a form of entertainment is something other than to be entertaining, then yeah, maybe I just shouldn’t bother with it.
I’m not chastising them for making an effort. But it’s going to take more than one month’s worth of saying “but look at the new microwave i installed in the kitchen” before people who have lost interest are going to buy.
Well, yeah, now they’re making an effort. Because people have been tuning them out. Because of how boring the game was.
Yeah, but at least i can be reasonably sure the next play i see once the game resumes will have some excitement in it. Multiple 5-10 minute breaks late in a baseball game is just taking something that has maybe 8 to 10 exciting moments total and spacing them out even more. For most games, you can watch a 1 minute…
Watching baseball is the worst. No other sport has the game come to a complete stop for at least 5 minutes so 1 player can be swapped out for another, who then gets to keep practicing before the game resumes.
Totally, I pretty much quit drinking just about 6 weeks ago, and with no other effort I’ve dropped from 230 to 220. I still crave a coke every once in a while, but seeing what I’ve lost so far makes it a lot easier to tell myself no.
I think the part about liquid calories is important, a lot of people just assume a large majority of their calories come from solid foods.....but figure a person who gets a drink from Starbucks in the morning, has a soda or two throughout the day, then maybe stops in for happy hour after work, it’s pretty easy to get…
