Robotech is better than Macross. Sorry, I said it.

Recruiting on Twitch, or a draft? Go!

Most of the time, what you’re seeing is a combination of different stunt men in the suit. The behind the scenes series on Disney+ is actually quite interesting, and goes into this.

There’s a podcast I like called The Rewatchables, and they recently did an episode on Ocean’s 12 and they basically agree with you.

No Chappelle? No Donald Glover? No Chris Tucker? Really...?

I voted NP, in part because I like these things, but also, if a 1987 VW Scirocco can go for $37,000, this thing should probably be worth at least $20k to the people who are into them and want to relive that era. The auto trans is kind of a bummer, though...

That article is 10 years old... About a car that was brand new in the market that year...

There were a couple of sets inspired by the Classic Space sets in the Lego Movie 2 series. You might still be able to find them. They’re small, but might be the nostalgia jolt you’re looking for.

“...the San Francisco Bay region...”

This is pretty dumb. The Eleanor Mustang is basically just a tarted up Shelby...

He said that the video game-film genre would gain legitimacy, not video games.

I visited this museum last year. Definitely worth checking out.

I had an older co-worker complain to me that “your generation” is just freaking out because we’ve never been through anything. She was blabbering on about Vietnam and some other nonsense. Never mind that she’s only about 10 years older than me and had nothing to do with Vietnam...

Don’t underestimate the need for some people to be “The First” to do something on YouTube...

You mean the suspension and aero that they redesign every year anyway...? I literally remember Pirelli saying years ago that they didn’t want any changes to the tire sidewalls because it was the last place on the car they could still put their name where people could actually read it. Sure, there’s all the nonsense

I don’t think the author understands that performance cars use low profile tires to reduce sidewall flex during cornering, or that series like Formula 1 and NASCAR use “fat” sidewall tires because the tire manufacturers want a large enough space to slap their brand name on.

Traffic on I-405 doesn’t seem to have improved...

I’m probably going to burn for this, but I kind of like E/28...

The truck stunt is pretty great. I don’t know if it’s better than the chariot race in Ben-Hur, though.

I remember the year when half the people who went to PAX got swine flu. This con is not a good idea...
