Without American assistance...? Do you have any idea how many tanks, planes, trucks, ships, bullets, barrels of oil, tons of steel and bags of grain we supplied the Soviets with during the war? They would have collapsed without American aid, as would the Brits.

Clear eyes, full hearts ...

Several years ago my roommate went through his DVD collection and got rid of everything that was available on Netflix at the time. All these years later I’d be surprised if any of that stuff is still available. The lesson: Don’t get rid of something you already own just because it’s currently on Netflix.

The only one of those things that people thought would never happen (and, I add parenthetically, who on Earth ever concerned themselves with Honda making a turbo civic or Chevy an EV?) is the mid-engined 911, and even now that’s just in a race car.

This comment is criminally under-appreciated.

I enjoyed Spartacus as well, but the unfortunate passing of the lead actor does have a definite effect on the rest of the show. Not a bad effect, per se, but things definitely feel different.

Not surprised to see this. My local store (which is not closing) is just not competitive on prices with other local options like Target or Walmart. Plus, the place is kind of a dump.

I’m really surprised the mighty hippo isn’t in on this.

The Mopar Dom shows up in at the end. I also liked the Monte Carlo a bit, mostly because it was more of a “real” car and not a fancy hero car.

Cool, Soul Blade 7.

I often wonder if the Internet has been a net-positive or a net-negative for society. I’m still not sure of the answer.

I was working as a mechanic back when all those 3.8s were blowing their head gaskets. The small shop I was at once had three in a week.

I don’t know if this is important to note, but I was there for the race on Sunday and there was no fly-by. This must have been for the Saturday race.

If your friend’s retail job is anything like mine, his bosses won’t allow him to buy any of them before customers get a chance.

The linked video already shows him driving the chassis around and it seems to be holding together just fine. I think the “Awful metal work” your whining about is just there to support the bodywork. Honestly, I think you’re confusing this thing for a unibody vehicle, which it is not. Old-style body on frame vehicles

I’m not going to disagree with you, because of course the U.S. is much larger and had many more resources to draw upon. But most Brits seem to get incredibly butt hurt when the subject of America’s role in WWII comes up, and can’t bring themselves to admit that the mightiest, most important power during the war was

Russian production also paled in comparison to the U.S. in most areas, dipshit.

You know what won the war? American industry. All the men the British, French, Russians, etc. threw into the fight wouldn’t have amounted to a damn thing without American industry.

First off, the only thing that really led to the Battle of the Bulge was Germany’s willingness to launch on offensive on the Western Front late in the war. Secondly, Montgomery was the one who came up with the dumb ass idea of getting to Germany through the Netherlands (Operation Market Garden), which is what weakened

You’re missing one, probably because it was just announced yesterday. Ninjago City, which is a huge, nearly 5,000 piece set that will reportedly retail for $300.
