I'm not going to take that Consumer Reports test as gospel. There's a lot wrong with the way they drew their conclusions.

Except turbo chargers can be "magical efficiency improvement" devices. One reason you see a lot of turbo chargers used on small engines is so you can get small engine efficiency at low speeds/RPMs (because the turbo isn't spinning all that fast and thus not really doing anything) but then also get more power when the

I don't have a backlog. I buy a game when I mean to play it, and if for some reason I know I'm not going to finish it I trade it in or sell it on ebay. Can't quite understand people who have stacks and stacks of games they've never played. Terrible waste of money.

Again, to each their own. I liked Fable 2 and 3.

To each their own, but I'm going to have to disagree with you on that. I'd much rather play Halo and Forza than Killzone and Gran Turismo. Plus we got all the Gears of War games, the Fables, timed-exclusives like Bioshock and Mass Effect and a bunch of DLC. Some of the PS3 stuff was cool, but it never made me wish I

It's not the base model, but I think your point still stands. The Z06 and ZR1 are going to be pretty incredible.

Okay, so Amazon, a company that's no stranger to ridiculous hyperbole for the sake of corporate hype, says the two consoles are breaking pre-order records, for whatever that's worth. I'll wait until people are actually buying the things before I worry about breaking records.

Care to provide a citation to back up that claim that the Xbone is setting records for pre-orders? And seriously, what makes you think, outside of some marketing BS, that Kinect 2.0 is going to be any better than the first one? Hands free motion controls suck. They will always suck. There's nothing the Kinect is going

1. It wont' result in awesome new innovations, and it hasn't in the two or so years since Kinect 1.0 released.

Even with price cuts, an Xbone with mandatory Kinect is always going to cost more than a PS4 without a similar feature because the PS4 is going to get inevitable price cuts as well. So no matter what, the Kinect is going to make the Xbone more expensive than it needs to be for its entire life cycle.

We'll see how committed to Kinect they are after the PS4 starts outselling the Xbone 2-1.

It's a problem because most gamers, myself included, don't want to pay an extra $100 for a feature we have no interest in.

NASCAR and its many corporate sponsors are far more concerned with television ratings, which I understand are pretty good for the Nationwide Series.

I'm part of Generation X, too, and I was an ASE certified auto technician. Sorry, but that excuse just doesn't hold water. If you really are passionate about cars and motorsports, you should make an effort to actually learn about them instead of just looking at all the pretty pictures. In this world there are car

Halo: Reach legendary solo.

Great diorama and an interesting article, but I'd like to point out that Pelelieu didn't cost America tens of thousand of lives. Fewer than 2,000 Americans died on Pelelieu, with another 8,000 or so wounded or missing. It's true that the battle was far bloodier than they predicted, but it wasn't nearly as bloody as

I enjoyed it, too. It was also a throwback to when shooters lasted longer than 5 hours and gave you more to do than just shoot your way through one scripted encounter after another.

I'm sorry, but who put you in charge of defining the terms expansion and DLC? If you buy content of any kind that you have to download, it's DLC, and in many cases that DLC is an expansion of the retail game. Borderlands 2 has had 4 DLC expansions, one released just last week. Id released a DLC expansion for Rage more

I hate to break it to you, but every video game ever created was made to make a buck. In fact, every consumer product ever created was made to make a buck.

In many cases, DLC and expansions are one in the same, especially when you Down Load that expansion Content. The terms are practically interchangeable. Mind blowing, I know.
