Just because kids make up their own guns doesn't mean we should provide them with realistic looking replicas.

I dunno, I worked at a kids' bookstore / toy store that refused to sell gun toys. But we also heard from parents ALL the time that kids would turn anything they could into a gun toy, sticks, rocks, their penises. Gun culture / adulation goes DEEP.
It makes sense that an institution with a history of telling women how to not get themselves raped would now start telling black kids how to not get themselves shot.
Helpful! But they left out the most important tip - have white children.
I'm a woman and if I was chatting with a customer service rep and they made that spelling mistake and then a funny little clarification, I probably would've made the same joke back. That being said, I don't blame the rep for disconnecting because you never know how far someone will take it.
In July, New York police officer Daniel Pantaleo choked unarmed black man Eric Garner to death, in broad daylight,…
Raped her in a way "as not to be tolerated in a civilized society."...... So there are certain ways to rape someone that SHOULD be tolerated by civilized society? Wtf.

No? Just me then? Ok.
"Bride Karyssa Smethurst, 28, of Gorleston, Norfolk, who is eight months pregnant, then had to drive her sister Krystel to hospital after an ambulance failed to turn up."
This is my all time favorite:
Looks like we are going back to planting evidence on black people after the police kills them instead of the police just going "oops, my bad" like they are doing now.
I just think Terry Crews is the most delightful person, and that opinion is compounded every time I watch him in an interview. I even love the way they initially cast him in Brooklyn 99, which is as a sergeant who has to stop working in the field for a while because he gets panic attacks at the thought of dying and…
Ah yes, the classic "I refuse to question authority and thus always assume the cops are in the right" argument, used (as it typically is) without any contextual understanding of the situation.
