Oh yeah, I’m totally watching this one, and like others said - the fact that women of a certain awesome age are in it makes it even better.

I really had to sit and read the news again and again, because I couldn’t believe it. To say she had a screen presence would be understatement. 

This feel like such a corporate hiring. Like those duets in pop music where record companies mix two stars for maximum profit, and hey, some cool songs come out of it, but ...yeah. Not sure about this remake at all.

She was in Lucifer!? I love that show! Must watch her episode again.
It will be so much more fun now that I know who she is.

I love Wesley too! When I saw him for the first time on Angel I really wasn’t sure about this transfer. But his character is fantastic here.

It’s interesting because I’m actually watching Buffy/Angel for the first time now and I’m doing this like it was orginally planned, so Buffy ep 501, then Angel ep 201 and so on.

I loved this movie soooo much. It really took me by surprise.
It’s such a confident and unpretentious debut. The mix of moods and genre here is pretty amazing: from romance to melodrama to dark comedy to almost a thriller. Oddly, it works every single time.

Not an expert (read only the first book many years ago), but I enjoyed this season more than the first (especially thefirst half), but I really struggled with the last two episodes. All those emotional beats didn’t land at all. Those two characters dying? Nothing.

Yep, definitely embarrassed.

On the one hand, I do feel songwriting is a bit lost here. Production dominates and hides certain shortcomings. On the other hand, it’s an enjoyable record. Not even close to her best, but it flows rather nicely. Good comeback, if you can even call it like that. 

Those are amazing! she is amazing. 

yeah, and seeing how critics are frustrated with this finale...like you said, not enough buzz. Also, while the sample is small, audience’s ratings on Metacritic, imdb, RT are underwhelming to say the least. Nothing suggests that this will get another chance, but who knows.

I just read EW interview with Vicky and she said how much Phoebe was involved, and I’m even more conflicted now. Mainly because it’s hard for me to understand why they thought this or that idea will be good for the story, where the problem is that soooo many ideas were actually terrible here.

I do agree that there is a problem with Eve, but imo that happened mostly in ep 6 - it should do a lot of groundwork for Eve’s line of thinking, that she exhibits right now (after what happened in 3x4), and it didn’t do that. I don’t blame ep 5 for that, because imo it was one of the season’s best and when you want to…

Agreed. And I’m definitely in the camp of people who think they are handling V’s development very well.
