Quite the opposite, in my experience. Even in jobs where I’ve loved my co-workers, I don’t want to get drunk around them. We’re not friends, no matter how much I enjoy working with them. And getting drunk around people who aren’t your friends is fucking dangerous. For just a ton of reasons.
