What you’re missing is that he’s lying. He can describe himself however he wants.
I think that we can talk about individual articles out of the tens of thousands at Breitbart, but, you know, NPR is taxpayer-funded...
That sucks. But it may be for the best, from the sound of it.
I do wish you the best of luck. But while I greatly respect your passion, I do think it will ultimately be futile. I’ve decided my best course of action is to get active in local politics. Once I have some experience on the local level, I intend to go to work with someone on the state level. I don’t think I’ll aim for…
I know it wouldn’t be just you, but the multiplier required to make any company in modern America notice you is massive. That’s the problem I addressed in the last paragraph; you really do need millions - tens of millions, in some cases - of people to coordinate a boycott of these massive corporations. Like I said,…
These people promised to make life terrible for us and people we care about. If they fail, that’s a good thing. You should be rooting for them to fail!
Of course it’s okay to wish death on people. It’s only not okay to try to act on it, or to encourage others. Commiserate with like-minded folks, but do not try to encourage others to want people dead. That is a very dangerous road.
Instead of hurting retailers, who sell more than just Trump merchandise, why not just don’t buy Trump merchandise? Because if you boycott a marketplace or mall-type company like Amazon, for example, and Amazon is the provider of another product you want, you’re not hurting Amazon with the boycott as much as you’re…
It’s almost as if people are complicated.
Well, yes. I agree with that. But those things favor them exclusively. Expanding the government in a more neutral way, or a way that could eventually be used against them, like expanding representation in Congress, would not likely fly, I think.
That’s true, but I wasn’t coming at it from a Dem vs Rep in power angle; I just meant from a pure size standpoint. Increasing the size, and cost, of the Senate by 50% would be more of a deal breaker for the Republican side, I suspect, since they have always been the party of “small government”.
.
You, not her, are the problem here.
A full “repeal and replace” would take a while, and would require the cooperation of Congress.
Exactly. 60 million voted for him, and 92 million eligible voters stayed home - despite seeing this guy on TV every day for the last 18 months and knowing what he’s all about. 92 million people watched this guy, heard what he said, and just went, “Eh. Whatever.”
Do ya? Do ya really? You have cold hard numbers.
I’ve been saying this! Well not that he looks like Luke, but that he looks like Luke’s evil twin. Or his evil clone, Luuke.
Are you fucking serious? You’re pinning this on Jill Stein voters? Yeah, they didn’t help, but they are not the reason we lost the fucking thing. There is always a third-party turnout.
