I’m not sure it’s gone away... my turn-ins have gone back to one candy each, but my magikarp buddy is still set to (and earning) x/0.25 KM. Still getting that bonus. I haven’t quit the app since the candy bonus on turn-ins switched back to normal, so maybe my buddy will go back to normal if/when I quit the app? Who

I hate Trump, and will be voting for Hillary, but I’m not sure why she gets a free pass on this site.

That’s so bizarre. I was actually a cord-cutter six or seven years ago. I had Comcast in my old house in Albuquerque, and I was paying $89.99 for just internet. There was no un-bundling fee. That was just the price.

It was the promo rate when I signed up after moving in this house about five years ago. Ever since, whenever the promo rate is set to expire, I go to the local Comcast office and tell them I want it extended. They’ve done it every time. It’s not a contract situation, but the rate is set to expire after a year.

1. You do get to pick and choose, but you get less content to choose from. That’s not debatable - you get less. When you pay for cable, you have access to every network’s streaming app. Go a la carte, and you have to pick a handful. And you can say that’s fine - but I watch things from at least a dozen networks in any

Welcome to the brave new world brought upon us by the cord cutters. They wanted a la carte, they’re getting a la carte. And they’re taking everyone with them, whether they want to or not.

Agreed. But the problem I have is with the modern conflation of news and opinion. I just don’t like that this service is pulling in opinion pieces and calling it news.

I prefer non-biased or more center news sources. Check that leading screenshot up there. One of the articles is “Why Comey should not have sent the Clinton letter - but probably felt he had to”.

“Would have”?

I completely agree with you about the league’s history with concussions. Completely and without reservation.

I won’t watch a regular game, I’m all about RedZone now. Regular games, with the slow pacing and the interminable advertising? When I can just have RedZone showing me the good stuff with no ads?

Find me a respectable number of doctors who say otherwise and I’ll be convinced. Otherwise, I’m satisfied that the doctors and experts used by the NFL to check over the players on the field are professionals who deserve the benefit of the doubt.

We all know the standards of the past were terrible. We know the NFL has made improvements. CJ was examined today and deemed by experts to not have a concussion. He was shaken up after a play. You can be shaken up without suffering a concussion.

There is. The middle ground is exactly what they did with CJ today. Neglect? He was bought off the field, examined, and deemed okay to play. That’s the middle ground.

So what do you suggest? If a guy gets hit and is a little dizzy afterward, he has to retire? Or maybe let’s just abolish the NFL altogether so nobody ever gets concussions anymore.

You’re adorable.

Do you not understand that for someone to be occupying the same physical space as my backpack, they’d have to be literally pressed up against me? And that we wouldn’t be able to walk in that case? Everyone would just be a tangle of legs and arms and we’d be falling down in the aisle. You ask what if everyone were
