You nailed the problem here : “improvements”. MHW has done so many things right than previous versions will feel like a downgrade. Now, obviously, not everybody has a PS4 or XBox One, so those people will probably enjoy the game, but I can’t see MHW players going back to an older version.

You don’t understand how it works, obviously : if a guy is slacking off, he’s not getting paid the same, he gets the boot. A company where people are slacking off is dysfunctional. Show me a game company where people are slacking off, I have some friends who want a job there...

That’s the point : you’re not working to earn more, you’re working FOR A PROJECT. And it’s usually OK with that kind of business where everyone is working their ass off anyway. People are driven and care more about achieving a goal than what they make an hour.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, as the Stakhanov incident shew people are not keen to work more when they earn the same, but in the precise case of Kitfox games, it’s a rate salary, so the the person working 60 hours/week would obviously earn more than the one working 45 hours/week.

Pirate’s Curse has awesome gameplay, story and depth. The best of the series, indeed. If you give the game 20 minutes of your time, I’m pretty sure you’ll want to finish it.
