They are in the process of reprogramming the game from the ground up. Team Cherry didn’t have ANY programming experience going in and Hollow Knight is their first game.

Since it’s still new, here is an obligatory “go play Hollow Knight” post. I am a big metroidvania fan and I believe it is the best one in a long, long time. The map in that game is somewhat controversial since you need to find and unlock it for each region, and before you do you’re flying blind. But it’s also awesome…

There is an overarching story, but you won’t miss out on anything important if you don’t know about it. Adol shows up, stuff hits the fan, there’s a damsel in distress, at some point, Dogi punches through a wall because Ys believes in its own memes, Adol beats some ancient world-threatening evil. Repeat.

“Primordials” tho? I mean, Ancient Species was a pretty goofy way to say Dinosaur but I kinda think Primordial ain’t any better since
