I might not be quick at learning people’s names (or remembering them if I haven’t seen them in a year or two) but FFS! When you work with the same people every day for years???? 100% that Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon know the names of everybody they work with.

Reality bites. I used to motorcycle roadrace and we all knew that if you crashed at the track, there wasn’t going to be any insurance coverage. But the real agony was when someone else caused your crash: you weren’t “covered” by them, either, just plain SOL.

My morbid curiosity want to know how did the passenger die because of the wave? Were they on-deck and got slammed into something? What? How? The rest of me just says my condolences to the passenger’s family. What a horrible end to a vacation.

No, not just the arrogance of youth, this is entrenched in his personality.

Patent bullshit. Any engineer worth a damn keeps up with changes in technology, just like doctors do, just like lawyers keeping up with changes in the law. And you sound like a dick. tsrich is right: you’d fit right in with Elon’s “bro culture.”

My parents bought a ‘79 or ‘80 Datsun 510 wagon. Practical? Sure, but a death-trap in the wet: one time while driving in the rain, I changed lanes and the car spun out of control like a Mustang 5.0 leaving a Cars & Coffee event. I ended up in the opposite lanes facing oncoming traffic! Turns out that this also

Good points. Thank you for that.

5. Repress despair and internalize rage.

I think what you said is true but it doesn’t negate the truths in Mr. Johnson’s article above.

Seriously, if a few bad calls under one’s leadership is enough to get ousted (or possibly quit?), then Mercedes should look at Toto Wolfe for all the bad calls Mercedes has made with Hamilton in previous (before 2022) years. Titles and wins aside, they were often outfoxed strategy-wise by Red Bull.

Actually I should clarify that I didn’t necessarily mean “cheap” (i.e. inexpensive) beer, but people buying bad-tasting beer, regardless of price. Although, that usually is the inexpensive beer.

You’re a monster.

Holy moly! All that race memorabilia is very expensive! (Except some of the stuff on GP Box...). Yikes! You either have to be somebody’s/some teams’s superfan and/or rich to afford that stuff. Kudos to Alanis for scoring that Roman Grosjean firesuit (and the bitchin’ racing sim setup!).

“On The Radio:...” Hmm. The guitar work sounds very Al Di Meola-ish. Overall, kind of middle of the road “modern jazz” for 1979.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who finds Ms. Yuko’s “articles” to be so lacking in quality, depth and detail.

Bottom line: artists are getting ripped-off by the streaming services and record labels (unless it’s their own label).

If that’s your comment, then you clearly didn’t understand the point of the article.

And if you get one of these 150 t-shirts?

A “selfie” by definition must be a photo wherein the photographer themself appears in the photo. Sometimes a self-portrait, sometimes appearing with other people/objects/scenery/etc.

It’s not so much “hate” as it is EXTREME SCHADENFREUDE over this egomaniac getting hoisted on his own petard (look up the meaning of that).
