I’ve not been to this specific school so I don’t know where everything would be situated, but her own words “This is me, only one year ago on this very campus, running around the academic quad with a fucking sharp metal sword.” say that she was out and about with it.

Fake sword or not, does it matter?
We have multiple deaths for holding fake guns (and in open carry states no less), and (according to her) nobody even blinked with her running around with a weapon. It still counts.
