I think this is as much a reason why the midsizer is dying as much as SUVs and trucks. Compact cars (and even subcompact SUVs) offer all those goodies and safety for a much cheaper price and sacrificing interior space few people really need anyway.

It’s part just jacking around, although I do dislike Deadspin and it’s by far my least favorite of the Gawker blogs (yes I like Jezebel much more)
