Pfft...you millenials....the REAL greatest add-on of all time was the Radio Shack FM converters we all had back in the 70's, since all the cheap-ass cars had only AM radios! I remember saving up for the $19.99 it cost. Man, it was great to finally be able to listen to the prog-rock station in my 1970 Maverick!

Hey, that car would be a good match with a pair of Velcro sneakers!

CP; only a PAJERO would buy this thing!

Yes, like Tim Horton did, with dire consequences...

The Countach came out later.....

Yeah, like Tim Horton found out one night driving one down the QEW from Toronto!

pan-NARD, vous cretin!

Did AMC make a 327 too, or did somebody plop a Chevrolet small block into this car?

...and PLEASE don’t pronounce it “PAN-hard”....

Knew a guy who had a 5 year old Strada years ago. It already had gaping rust hole, and a rotted floor. It hit the junkyard before it turned 6.....

Probably a transplant from the desert Southwest; even a Southern car would have visible rust by now!

Used to own an Omni GLH turbo. With a straight pipe. I can tell you that, yes, this happens. With my straight pipe, it sounded like a cannon shot! Fun thing to do; let off the gas in an underpass or a tunnel, and let the sound of the backfire ricochet off the walls....

That was pretty common in those days when the national speed limit was 55mph.........

What about my Impreza sport 5-door? Hatchback or small wagon?

Yes, those B36's could stay up a long time......

Well, at least most box trucks will be safe now....

Too many idiots slammed it into R while downshifting

If he’s going fast enough to have his trilby fly off, why doesn’t he raise the windscreen?

Back 50+ years ago, a lot of people used chains for really bad snowstorms. Studs came out of norther European designs, along with some truly interesting ideas, like the Finnish snow tire which had a large groove in the center to fit a motorcycle chain to it!

I’d bet at least a few people around Taos would want them....
