What about Flooz?

What about Flooz?

It would’ve bee more interesting if they could’ve modernized the original Hudson 6, which was considered the hottest motor of it’s day. In the early days of Nascar, Hudsons won nearly all the races. From the mid 30's to the early 50's Hudson 6's and straight-eights were the fastest cars made domestically. Having a

First time I saw a 4-door Wrangler, I thought “what is a Russian army Jeep doing on the roads here?”

When this car was first brought to market, I believe it only came with the trunklid. Hatchbacks were uncommon back then, and cost more to make. By the time my 1978 model was produced, the majority of Civics were hatchbacks.

I’m old enough to remember when Niki said the same thing about Ayrton Senna....

There has to be more to the story. If the bill was passed UNANIMOUSLY, then it would be a near certainty that the legislature would quickly override the veto. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requires a 2/3 vote to override a gubernatorial veto, so for some reason a full 1/3 of the legislature decided to not override.

You know, if people in Podunk have to wait 4 hours to download the race over their dial-up connections or wait until they can go into town to use McD’s free wi-fi, well then that’s just too damn bad. If you don’t want to know how the race turned out, DON’T COME HERE UNTIL YOU’VE WATCHED IT!!!!!

Do you need special permission to buy this car if you are older than 25?

I’m pretty sure only a few people did this. Most people went for any scrap they could find, which is why any family grave sites where there had been a fence around the headstones lost the fencing. Dozens of such grave sites at a large urban cemetery near me are like this.

I don’t think I’m being racist here, but I’ve noticed that Maximas seem to be more popular with African Americans. It seems to be the Camry for the American Black community. The higher percentage of thefts might be because more of them are parked in high-theft areas.

..as would Mario Andretti (and probably with an obscene gesture as well...)

Ok, Torch, where is your scientific evidence that proves your opinion over that of any other random blogger on the planet?

Keeping the re-built areas after tearing I-81 down from becoming too gentrified is really not very difficult; all you need to do is mandate that mixed-income housing be built in order to get permits and tax incentives. Rochester has been doing the same thing for the areas where the Inner Loop have been filled. New

Got behind a lady driving one of those ‘postal Subarus’ at the drive-up ATM at the bank once. You should’ve seen the contortions she had to do to use the thing!

Put a window on that aluminum sleeper, then......maybe?

At that rate, it would be worth your time to take a road trip to some mid-western Ferrari dealership, and make a short vacation out of it.

Welcome to today’s episode of “Pedant’s Corner”!

I drove a Countach once, and it was a very uncomfortable car for a tall guy to drive.

1983-ish, had the first job which actually paid me something, and I was tired of driving junky cars and wanted to have a sports car, at least for summer driving. Found a low mileage BMW 2002 for $1800, but it had hidden rust so I turned it down. Then there was a beautiful Fiat X1/9 with something like 20k, rust-free,
