In Italian, it’s “Scuze”

I’m surprised that by now, SANITY hasn’t stopped your $500 postal Jeep project....

Wait.....there is a “Montero community” out there? Wow.....must be a real bunch of.......Pajeros!

There has to be a really good story somewhere here; some guy on a drunken whim steals the car of his dreams, rides it around a bit, and in the morning, realizing his mistake, panics, and puts it away in the barn, never to be seen in the light again. Over the next 27 years, he occasionally looks at it, wishing he’d

I’d bet the engine could still work....

OK, Einstein, whadya do on a snowy day when snow has coated your ‘channel’? Get down on your back in the slop and clear it out with a brush? Yeah, THAT’s gonna go over well.....

That’s the next model.

That was the speed where you shifted into second on the 2-speed semi-automatic Hondamatic. My mom had one of these, and it was a rather nice car, very economical, but it’s frame rusted to smithereens! I remember seeing one once about the mid ‘90's that had rusted it’s frame so badly that the drive wheels actually

Having actually driven one of these rolling atrocities, I would suggest that the one update you truly need to do is to get taller rear-end gearing. I’m not sure what insanely short ratio it uses, but this thing was designed to get to 3rd gear at about 10mph, and was never designed to do highway speeds for any

If it actually was a police special, it’d be worth it, but it isn’t.

This is not ‘socialism’ per se. The more you study political theory, the more you notice that ideologues, whether they be from the right or from the left, as authoritarianism creeps in, the result is pretty much the same. Any strict political dogma will eventually fail when compromise is removed from governance,

Yes, having 4 junk cars in your yard is about average for Texas!

You know, those things were built to be as cheap as possible. Zero undercoating, zero soundproofing, drum brakes, etc. I remember when the post office used to sell them off at about 5 years of age, usually for about $800 each. That was 30 years ago. What you bought was a $100 parts car, which you paid $500 for!

Dutch? I thought it was just bad German.....

Considering how small Lloyds were (that’s a 600cc motor..), those 2 people in the car must be midgets......

Going on permanent disability is also an option.

You’re not going to be able to weld repair plates to solid metal because there IS no solid metal. Best bet is to buy a period wreck, sawzall frame pieces off, and weld them in.

They are 4-leaf clovers, not hearts; That is the logo of Alfa Romeo. I can’t believe that ‘car people’ don’t know this!

I wouldn’t even vote before I see some pics of the frame.

Only a person with a yard full of rust-buckets could find an Edsel attractive.....
