I’d say people who don’t want to blend in, like more interesting color choices, enjoy taking a corner a little fast from time to time, have brand loyalty, or have been wronged by Toyota/Honda before.

I was until very recently considering the same SF->NY trip as I have no time restrictions, but for the sheer cost of having a place to sleep on SF-CHI, I can’t find a reason not to fly. I have zero interest in stopping anywhere along the way, so compared to being a metal tube for 6 hours or 5 days, I’ll take the plane.

I am very much in support of the example set by 343 Industries and thank them for keeping up the investment as long as they have.

Given how many brands have more or less thrown their weight into a full EV conversion (GM, VW, Mini just to name a few) there’s going to come a time where ICE options are going to be far less plentiful to choose from. It’s not a matter of if but when.

I’m surprised this hasn’t made it to the top, but I want a car that looks like a freaking car. Love or hate Tesla, you have to admit that their sedans look pretty normal compared to the angular, swoopy, spaceship designs of EVs like the Clarity, Leaf, i3, or Bolt, with their crazy, unnecessary extra headlights or

You don’t need it everyday, no, but I don’t want to have to have a second car that I only drive for long distances. It’s hard enough parking one car.

Yes, it’s the same argument everyone said about 4K TVs, but think about it: 4K content is still something of a novelty for most people, and 4K TVs are in some ways still unnecessary for many people, depending on their home setups.

Almost every 90s Weird Al parody song I knew before the real song, including “Phony Calls” and “Fat”. In fact, it took me 10+ years between hearing “Amish Paradise” before I ever heard “Gangster’s Paradise:

That’s not radical at all; that’s yet another example of iterative automotive design where you can clearly see the lineage and the adaptations from generation to generation. See also Ford Mustang, Crown Vic, Transit, Chevy Camaro, Corvette, Dodge Challenger, VW Golf, or Pontiac Firebird.

Why would you want this? It was a game designed and optimized for console. Putting it on PC would make it far too easy and seriously detract from the way the game was meant to be played. Besides, it’s not like you don’t have craptons of other options for FPS on PC?

I regret having only one star to give

Dang, I thought you were trolling, but I guess some places do have it under $2/gal. In CA hasn’t been that cheap since W’s first term.

Um, moved my book collection four separate times? Packing and moving books is not all that different from moving kitchenware or furniture.

Poseidon will be the largest torpedo designed by any country, with a diameter of 6.5 feet and a length of 65 feet.

I won’t ever buy GM, but I do question that decision when I see the 95.

That seems great compared to all the tablet-glued-on-the-dash designs that you can’t escape from today

I will gladly pay a 15% premium on prices at a restaurant if it means I do not need to tip ever again. Can we please end this arbitrary compensation practice and just pay people a standard wage?
