Walk more places?
Walk more places?
You get blankets, socks, choose your meals and slightly more seat space than long hauls in the US
I agree with most of these except the aisle bit. As someone with wide shoulders, an aisle seat guarantees that I’ll be noticeably bumped by every person and the drink cart as they go by me.
This. These still look like Q-Tips to me. Decidedly uncool looking.
Tiguan has more ground clearance but struggles to put down low-end power. The 1.8 in the Golf family hits peak torque way down at 1700 RPM.
No need! The 6 speed auto in this is marvelous.
It comes standard with front-biased AWD and slightly more lift, so, probably decently more off-road ready
Episode 2, CN’s Clone Wars, and CGI Clone Wars already did this. We don’t need any more.
A point often contemplated about self-driving cars is that, in a theoretical future where they’re everywhere on public street, humans will simply bully autonomous vehicles around; the vehicles will almost certainly be programmed to observe the rules of the road to an extreme.
I’ve seen this reported purely factually in a couple of places today, and I can’t think of a downside. I didn’t think this was needed, but I can’t think of anything fundamentally wrong with this. Tofurkey (for example) isn’t meat, so it shouldn’t be called that.
Do they though? I would love if that were true, but 9 times out of 10 the people getting honked at don’t have any clue what they did because they aren’t paying attention
Maybe I’m not die hard enough, but how often do you need to know the original starting point? Doesn’t the text “2nd and 15" or “1st and 10" indicate that information already? Do you, as a viewer, really need the accuracy to know that they started a play on the 43 instead of the 45 yard line?
UXer as well, but I came with the opposite take: This is a major regression.
I only see bike racks at libraries and universities. Or bike stores. Mayyybe at a bus terminal, but that’s it.
There’s always one person who goes “HURR DURR DON’T UBER, WHY NOT TAKEA BUS?”
I’m probably not the target market for this service.
Counterpoint: I don’t want a massive 10- or 12-inch tablet to carry around with me. 7-8" was a perfect size for gaming, reading, and browsing without feeling like I was carrying a lunch tray or a laptop.
I would group text if Google Messages (the plain SMS app) supported it. It can send but not receive group texts.
When you have two nationalities, do you hyphenate both? Is it “Palestinian-Mexican American”, or does it work like adjectives, “Palestinian, Mexican American” ?
I’ll try that, thanks!
