Free virtual high five to whoever can identify the device in the top right of the group device image (above the Blue mike and to the right of the travel tumblers). Looks like a wi-fi device with super-long cord. Don’t see it in the individually listed items.

I’m hardly an optimist, about our government or the condition of our environment, however, I think there’s a lot of hyperbole involved in the claims for this product, if it could have ever been built.

I never really thought about the foreign nature of Scar or Jafar, but rather that the emphasis and tone they used were meant to seem manipulative and deceptive. Smarmy when speaking to someone they were manipulating, bullying when speaking down to underlings.

At the beginning, the creators were asking everyone to present their theories. They did this for multiple reasons. Mainly it was to cement the idea in viewers that Lost was not Twin Peaks (or similar), a show with fascinating characters, premise, and setting, but with no idea what happens after Season 1. And also, to

The answer to that question is always yes. Leave. No normal man will tell you otherwise.

Sooo....

It offends me that the ST franchise, which most represents selfless humanist views, has been presented by CBS as a cash-grab to launch a pay service. Yet another example of how little the studio and show-runners get the material...

Fatwallet did have overall great cashback. I think the Hot Deals, Travel, Finance, and other forums were equally as valuable, though some might have dropped off with the loss of cashback. But even when Fatwallet had cashback, I always checked EVReward anyway. They were often beaten except when they did double-cashback

Namely the cash back. When the cash back was removed from FW and made ebates-only, that was when it really went downhill, IMHO.

Sorry, you’re right. I started using Slickdeals more after Fatwallet died, so conflated the events. Yes, eBates/Rakuten shut down Fatwallet, and neither offered the same kind of community forums to replace Fatwallet’s greatest strength.

Slickdeals didn’t buy Fatwallet. Ebates bought Fatwallet, which in turn was bought by Rakuten, then Fatwallet was shut down.

Egyptians were only 2'6" in ancient times. They stuffed pharaohs like sausages to make their mummies bigger.

I really like this show for the very same reasons. It explains with examples, many of the ethical issues which often prompt me to reply to others here.

There are a number of open questions remaining after this study before drawing broad conclusions about the usefulness of body cameras.

OK, I’m starting the pool right now on this Japanese entertainment device.

I often reply on Gizmodo sites to provide additional perspective. I consider myself very literate about history, particularly American History, and even particularly about abuses against Black and other minorities in American History, but, shit, man, I’m blown away. Several of these incidents were totally new to me.

Not to read too much into tea leaves, but I have to wonder, at least, whether Sen. McCain’s recent glioblastoma death-sentence has given him the human perspective to realize healthcare access should not be reduced to fix healthcare costs (and not that it would, anyway). It should be the other way around. Healthcare

Thanks OP. Just curious. Any relation to the author Andrew J. Offutt?

That’s actually probably not too far off.
