He’s smarter than to accuse Comey directly of lying. That special degree of idiocy is reserved for Trump.

End of summer is not realistic. End of the year is less of a stretch, but its still maybe a little bit of a stretch.

So how many times is he going to try calling Comey a liar? Denying that Comey ever asked for help avoiding Trump? Insisting that Trump just had him leave the room so he and Comey could have a friendly conversation?

Is Al Franken on this committee? If not, can he be brought in as a special interrogator?

Call me negative but I do not think something is going to happen, he will be saying “I do not recall” ad infinitum.

Let’s hope the Senators don’t show him special deference just because he’s a former colleague. Sessions has shown that he’s a dishonest, authoritarian, power-hungry little troll. He doesn’t deserve any special respect from the Senators just because he’s been out to dinner with them. I’m looking at you, Susan Collins.

Every time the DNC tries to raise single payer healthcare on a national level it gets pummeled, including when  Hillary fucking Clinton fought for it a solid 24 years ago. I am all for universal healthcare, but there are historical reasons why they’re trigger shy.
