The title and image reveal exactly nothing about the episode that wasn’t obviously foreshadowed at the end of last weeks episode.

He was in the episode from last week.

Bruh he was in the last episode.

The engine being stretched to its limits is a big reason why Cyberpunk 2077 had so many issues. And running an in-house engine is a massive investment of resources for the still relatively small studio. I was amazed that they decided to make one even back in The Witcher 2 days, let alone that they managed to keep it

Those barriers are the worst, I’ll admit. And it would’ve been helpful to understand the stagger mechanic before hand, as that does maxamize the swords damage. But if you just study the boss’s movements, you can see there’s some brief opening windows that you can utilize to boost in, jump up and get a charged slash

Getting sword hits on the first boss is down to RNG, because the boss is allowed to fly into areas that physically block the player from attacking, and thus, you have no choice but to eat damage and hide until the boss comes back into the arena. There’s no actual *reason* the player shouldn’t be able to attack, they

Ya....Sonic Team has a pretty long history of sounding super bitter when Sonic games developed in the west do much better then the ones they come up with.  They then double down instead of making the games people actually want.

look at some Wayforward games or something ffs.”

I read it just fine, thank you. The guy doesnt think pixel art will stand the test of time. Fair enough opinion I suppose, but Sonic Team’s output seems to suggest that the only “modern” alternative to pixel art is using 3D models whereas I think a Sonic game with high-res 2D art a la Wayforward’s games would look

There’s nothing nostalgic about it. Fun games are fun games. Pixelated games are basically just an art form at this point. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But I’ll be SHOCKED if there aren’t still a bunch of 2D pixelated games in 10-20 years. If anything, you could argue this is the golden age of pixelated

Good ol’ Sonic Team.

Why is Sonic Team so fucking reluctant to even consider the idea of just creating high-quality 2D sprites?

Regarding young people, like anything there will be a variety of opinions. My 10 year old loves all of the Mario games and also spent a ton of time playing various games on my SNES Classic and I’ve never heard him complain about the appearance of the oldies. I also have teenage nephews, and their views on older/pixel

I’m in the opposite camp, I’ve been waiting 10 years for a new AC. The newest Bethesda RPG can hang out for a while until I’ve kicked enough robots off of cliffs.

Yeah they do. And it’s one of those things that can be legitimately scary for someone exposed on stage like Geoff was. You never know if people have weapons, intend actual harm, etc, etc. Shit is crazy these days.

Security should just be allowed to dome these incels.

Yeah, sorry I was more agreeing with what you’re saying. If the rules of the contest are X you get banned for X.

Maybe raise your own fuckin' Pokemon then.

I agree. Not sure if you meant to comment to me or another person, but I 100% agree that people who are hacking pokemon deserve their bans.

Okay, there you go. The rules are you grow your own Pokemon. Seems pretty straightforward.
