It’s still not niche in terms of setup, in general. It’s a PSVita in handheld mode, and a GameCube in TV mode. There’s nothing niche about either of those things - it’s a handheld gaming device, or it’s a “set-top” console. You can plug a controller into the thing for both use cases, if you wanted. It’s only two

People in the west realized MH was basically a more friendly Dark Souls.

I didn’t even think Switch having a fan was a good idea. I was not optimistic about Valve shoving a full PC into a handheldform. Too big, too loud, too heavy, too fragile.

Thee are more internet users in India alone, than there are *people* in the U.S.A.

It’s junk like this that, when my mom is, like, “I thought you like video games - why didn’t you seek work in that field?”, I’m like, this is why I didn’t have the motivation to attend any of my classes.

I’d rather just play an MMO with a monthly service fee.

Which is totally a legit way to go about it! Got a Switch last summer, and for the first six months, didn’t have a single first-party game. Only got some for my birthday/Christmas, and bought Pokemon Snap earlier this year.

Did the game get worse over nine years?

It’s only a “problem” if you’re addicted (see: self-entitled) to cheap and free games on other platforms. There’s literally no rule in the universe or the industry that says games must be cheaper after they’ve been out for a time. Cheaper games are a tactic for selling more games that haven’t been selling as well as

Well, no, because this list doesn’t say not to buy an iPhone 4, does it?

I have an semi-interesting story about that game.

I disagree. VR has way more potential than you’re suggesting. 3D modeling in VR is way easier, faster, and intuitive. You can have as many “screens” as you want, within reason. You can collaborate in “physical” spaces remotely with other people, and take part in presence without actual presence.

90Hz was available via unofficial methods as far back as 2020 - and Virtual Desktop (and other software) supported it. It went offical last year, I think, and 120Hz became “experimental”.

There was a lot of other stuff wrong with the study, too. See my comment... around here somewhere.

So much is wrong with this study.

It’s “GoldenEye 007", not “GoldenEye 64".

GoldenEye Source is a thing. Check it out.

I’m over here playing Skyrim VR, and shoot... yeah. Worst VR game turned best VR game thanks to the community.

I’d rather have a down-graded, PS1-style version of the game.

How much did he spend?
What did he get out of it?

Just scrolling through, there was a lot of dark, gritty, serious, scary stuff.
