- A game streaming service, like Stadia [using the hardware on their end]
- A remote play service, like Playstation’s Remote Play or Steam Link [using your existing hardware at home]

This is currently in the beta. I couldn’t tell you if it’s bypassing Internet traffic - my Internet/WiFi are pretty darn good, but I’ll say that there’s still enough noticable latency that it makes local-display play still a better-something, in my book.
