Don’t forget the new PG&E commercials where they talk about being ‘first responders’. That started after their powerlines were implicated in the huge Napa fire last year.

Governor Rick Snyder will probably find this so galling and appalling that he’ll promote John Engler and use the money the state saved on providing drinking water to residents of Flint in order to give Engler a nice raise. Maybe, oh I don’t know, $250,000?

1) Based on MSU tuition revenues, a 2.97% increase in tuition would cost current students an additional $29 million in fees for the systematic, criminal promotion and coverup of a serial child molester.

When you see those commercials where they’re out here in San Leandro or something fixing potholes, they might as well have ONURB NAS TEGROF on the bottom of the screen.

“Mr. Engler then looked directly at me... ‘well give me a number.’”

Ah PG&E, showcased so well in ‘Erin Brockovitch’. Hope all the execs get testicular cancer and live with it for 100 years.

But we did get a lot of commercials featuring PG&E employees and how they’re our neighbors and really, really care about us.

I work in higher ed administration, and the time limits on pubic comments during board meetings are absolutely necessary. That said (in my state at least), the board can extend the speaker’s time, and always do when they are speaking on something important and providing relevant information (you may be surprised how

GUARDS, SEIZE HER!

Me: “I can’t imagine how an institution could fail harder than this.”

Reminds me of San Bruno in California. PG&E had a gas pipeline running underground through a neighborhood, and received permission from the state to raise utility rates *twice* to pay for fixes to the pipeline.

And it’s not like she was being rude or disruptive. The board obviously wanted to shut her up before anything worse came out.

I love (fucking hate) this trend of cops trying to drag people away from a podium for the crime of speaking.

Of course the people would have to pay the burden. Could we expect otherwise? It’s like the outrage that AT&T would pass the purchase price for Time Warner onto its subscribers. Of course that’s what would happen.

I think I get it. The guy was outed as a racist, piece of shit. However, after said outing, he had a couple of productive years. Turns out, he’s not such a bad guy after all (because he was able to play football well after we found out he’s a racist)!

Troubled people are not at all susceptible to bullying, and bullying only helps them with whatever demons they are wrestling, so if a person later reveals themselves to be deeply troubled, that clearly means they were never bullied, duh.

To quote Drew Magary on the subject Andy Benoit:

This reads like Trump defending Michael Flynn.

Well Andy Benoit did kill his whole family so maybe he isnt the best to speak on character
