If you have to announce that you’re in charge, you’re not in charge.

Don’t forget the fans being dispossessed of their teams in San Diego, St. Louis, Oakland, ... Those abandonable markets, they add up.

That surely is part of it too. For cord cutters that use an OTA antenna, I don’t think their ratings are being counted either.

Yeah, how are people going to discuss the issue of racism when they’re all distracted by discussing racism?

The saying is “lunatics running the asylum.” For a billionaire supporter of Trump—who thinks the police should be more violent against suspects and has an AG who is willing to put that platform into play—to openly state such a dog-whistling term is part of the problem, as is the bent of people to say that it is “just

Even at 94, Virginia still threw only 8 fewer passes than Mitch Trubisky did last Sunday.

It probably doesn’t hurt this perception that he holds controlling stakes in the concessions, stadium operations, naming rights deal-making, and PSL contracting for multiple other teams in the league through Legends Hospitality.

They are all convinced (well, Jones and Snyder certainly are) that their successes are entirely due to their own genius and force of personality, ignoring all the while that a dachshund in jogging shorts could make millions running an NFL team over the last 15 years.

I was laughing when I read that and this popped into my head:

McNair wasnt even an owner until 2002. He bought into a country club.

It’s failing. Just ask the orange guy with the 30% approval rating and hated by his own party.

They will claim that TV ratings are down because of it and ignore the bad football, lack of competent QB’s (leading to bad football), and huge number of violent, scary injuries as contributing causes.

There is no such thing as rank except in military. People who say they “outrank” you outside of the military should be teased.

Even aside from the inmates remark the exchange with Vincent is pretty telling. To McNair, it’s him and the other owners who built the league’s value. Vincent, a 3 time All-Pro, had nothing to do with it.

“I’m the ranking owner here,”
