Yep. Outrageous.

It still works for me, so I care not a single fuck.

Best opening to an article EVER.

Thanks. Blood disorder...I wish I had thought of that! Having to put up with colleagues that think mental illness=hilarious, wacky, scary fun is really trying. I wouldn't tell them either, not if my life depended on it!

Yes, sometimes it seems it's the only thing that will get a rise out of them, jaded lot.

I've been known to drop the occasional swear in front of grade 12's, but only once I'm confident I know my audience. The rest of the time my lingo is 100% granny approved too. Criminy, I like that.

Kick that horse. It deserves it.

I have to wonder how many "made up" physical illnesses are to cover for real cases of mental illness. As a bipolar wo is still very much in the closet I have been doing this for years. I'd rather call in and say I have explosive diarrhea than to actually admit I just attempted suicide.

This is why unions are needed. Also, the author should have filed a formal harassment complaint. Employers need to be slapped when they do such stupid, illegal, sexist bullshit.

So neat!

I teach, so while in the classroom, no swears for me. I make up for it in my office/staffroom, as do my colleagues. It's like releasing a pressure valve. If we didn't do it at some point we'd all blow up.

Yep, it's all about knowing your audience. Well put!

These are hilarious, but I wouldn't bother. 15 year-olds are programmed to ignore you and challenge everything you say.

I'm completely biased. For me, monkeys are the worst thing ever.

Monkeys are fucking evil assholes and I have the huge scars to prove it (long story, don't have time to go into details). If you see one, do NOT make eye contact, and do not approach it. Get away to safety as quickly as you can. If you are a gun-toting type, I give you permission to blow its head off.

Indeed. Fuck. This. Horseshit.

Yup, we wimmins need to know how to properly fit ourselves. Great info!

WTF? Does no one do WHMIS training or have the slightest iota of respect for dangerous chemical substances anymore? Stupid.

Thanks. :-)
