I’m so happy to see how many people are calling out this bullshit headline. I LITERALLY cried in my office today when I saw her humans Facebook post about her passing. Then to see this cold, callous, bullshit headline was just.... icky.

I know my orange boy is playing with Lil Bub, Grumpy (Tarter Sauce was her name, btw), and Queen Sushi. Coz all good pets go to the Good Place.

Bub’s owner Mike always struck me as the exact opposite of too many “famous pet” owners: Always kept the animal’s best interests in mind, only monetized her appearance when they could also put proceeds towards animal welfare causes, didn’t name the cat “Retard” and clumsily backpedal when they got media attention…

I will never not love Bub. I’m a huge cat person and have 4 myself but there was always something magical about Lil Bub and the love between her and her owner.  

I am crushed by this, and I never even got to meet her in person. I can only imagine how devastated her family is.

Lots of love and great medical care.  She was given a chance that a lot of cats aren’t lucky to receive.
