With the massive and quickly increasing income inequality that is happening right now, I would say yeah, they seem inclined to sit on it.
The best argument, to me, is that it’s a good thing to have some guardrails built in to the system to push back against aristocracy. America is supposed to be about going west and making something of yourself, not the supremacy of the Duke of Ohio.
Elizabeth Warren, please sit down and shut up. Obama is no longer president, and him taking money for a speech is perfectly goddamned reasonable. If you’d like your party to ever have actual relevance on the national scale, shut up about Obama and start grinding the grassroots at the state and local levels.
Can’t tell, are you making a trickle-down economics argument? Because sure, decreasing taxes for the wealthy might increase investment, but decreasing taxes for the middle and lower classes increases spending, and increasing spending is a far more effective and direct method for spurring the economy.
Let them die, and decrease the surplus population of poor, undeserving people-that is the unspoken but intended consequences of the the GOP’s miserable attempt to deform healthcare.
Do you have a problem with originalism?
Complain all you want, but he’s just fulfilling his mandate. We all remember the crowds at Trump rallies chanting “Tax cuts for real estate developers and hedge funds!” If you’d get out of your snowflake liberal coastal bubble for a second you’d realize that real America wants to solve the plight of wealthy heirs…
Wait, wait, I’ve got an even BETTER tax plan and I’d like to run on that policy platform in 2020.
And here I was, telling my parents to keep spending so that my inheritance stays under $5.45 million. Can cross that concern off my list thankfully.
Somewhere out there, Aimee Osbourne is thinking, “Rob, it didn’t have to be this way.”
lol this reminds me of a few times I tried the captioning option on youtube videos....the result being hilarious you-cant-make-this-shit-up gibberish subtitles.
He was talking like this all the way through 2016. That’s why he was elected. He’s a harmless old racist grandpa to half the voters. (Yeah yeah, less than half)
I can’t read him directly anymore because of things like that. I know I should just accept he is one of the most poorly educated people every to take office, if not the most, but it still hurts. Worse, he’s surrounded by a group of far-right apparatchiks and charlatans that can’t correct him.
The fact that he’s part of the crowd that just spent 8 years saying our first black President who was born in Hawaii was not a citizen is the cherry on top of this racist sundae.
I’m only disappointed to hear that the star goes some periods of time without being vandalized.
Nobody has a sense of humor anymore? How was this comment even remotely funny? One of the most powerful men in the country is a racist who doesn’t seem to understand how 101 level government works and serves under a president who knows even less. Fucking hilarious.
“Wednesday being, of course, a day of the week, one of the best days. So that’s how that’ll work next week, it’ll be on a day, a day in the week, probably that day, but who knows? Maybe a night.”
PlatinumDoor has never driven a mile over the speed limit in their life. Didn’t have a drink before legal age, or poured paint down the drain, or failed to disclose the $20 they get from grandma in their birthday to the IRS. Staying on the right side of the law is easy. Just don’t do illegal things.*
No, I read the part where you said “of course it should be fair, but” I just think it’s an unintelligent argument that missed the point of the entire ad. Arguing that it’s unfair that black and brown people have it shitter than white people but hey, it’s reality, so they really just need to accept it and deal with the…
