I loved grimes’ early music very much. Great for dancing and doing other flow-y active things. Beautiful music videos.

Do we know for certain that she’s not getting compensated?
Well, arguably, by using her likeness and her story without compensation, it’s a violation of the “right of publicity.” She could sue! I believe there are usually exceptions for news reporting, but not for creating a television show.
I can’t help it. I just can’t.
I think another issue is Kim’s wig is so big in that photo it look like an afro. Gotta admire her chutzpah to emulate Taylor with those hips. Her proportions are too modern for that vintage look. I’m also truly weirded out by those holes above her breasts. Clavicles were not a feature of old Hollywood glamour. And…
“(every single song could have at least one verse of, and the audience would notice anyway given high concentration of gibberish in the lyrics).”
I just watched the Brad Pitt eppy of Friends, and he was so smoking hot back then, I was really happy for Jennifer Aniston. She got him when he was prime Hollywood meat.
I know no one will ever confuse Brad Pitt with Alec Guinness or Laurence Olivier, but I *really* hope he wins an Oscar for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. He was so great in it.
That was beautiful, especially considering how many fascist right wing thugs see themselves in Covington. It was like when Jesse Owens beat Luz Long in the 1934 Olympics, except apparently Luz Long was somehow kind to Owens. He was a fascist but I guess not a bully? Go figure.
I finished it yesterday. It’s decent if you can get through the first hour and a half or so that they’re trying to get you to play along and pretend that DeNiro is in any way convincing as a guy in his late 30s or early 40s.
“I was just goofin’ around herpa derp! I got kids and a wife derpa herp!”
You got to hell and you die.
IDK...if I looked as bangin’ in that dress as does, I’d be wearing it to the Target.
It also bothered me how she callously vilified these (admittedly poorly behaved) children who were obviously a product of neglectful alcoholic parenting. You’re not gonna run into too many teenagers whose parents are in the process of drinking themselves to death who are polite and well adjusted. The only thing the…
I love how Ruiz is playing this whole thing; she keeps this up and she could make this her big break. She’s certainly got the looks for it.
Duncan Hunter is 43, don’t drag millennials into this.
That last story - I don’t mean to be rude to you, but while it’s clear your family members suck, it also sounds like you had every opportunity to say no. I truly don’t understand how this shit happens to people. If you don’t feel comfortable saying no, just make an excuse to leave. Or better yet, don’t make an…
Exactly this. I saw this trailer over the weekend while going to see Knives Out and leaned over to my friend to say “ah yes, white men so often are being stereotyped. So glad Eastwood is telling this story.” *eyeroll*
For some reason, Clint Eastwood and the other makers of Richard Jewell decided that the tragic story needed a retelling with the addition of a spicy suggestion that Kathy Scruggs fucked for tips.
