I don't think it's so much a 'moral code', and rather a 'this is the way the world works' sort of thing. They're not shoving morality down your throat, they're showing realistic human relationships.

That would be because BBCLock fans think it's acceptable to post hate for Elementary in the Elementary tag. It was flooded with so much hate that we had to move to a new tag to avoid it.
