I'm with you on that one. The squarebacks and nothcbacks were much cooler, much more interesting, much better looking (IMHO), and far less common than the ubiquitous "people's car", which was like every 5th car on the road in the 70s.

Wierd, European, relatively uncommon and relatively fast, the Jensen Interceptor was a pretty interesting car. One variant (the "FF") was 4-wheel-drive and could be purchased with anti-lock brakes and traction control...in the early 70s!
